One of the SUNI camps running this week is “It’s Your Move!”.
“It’s Your Move!” camps gives the opportunity for volunteers ages 16-18 to be trained to run a camp or mission over the first four days. Then on the second part of the week they put their new skills in to practice as they, with older leaders, run either a camp or mission
Last summer Nicola Bailey took on the challenge of “It’s Your Move!”. You can read her whole story by clicking on the picture.
SUNI Camps and Missions for Summer 2013 are well underway. Thousands of children and young people along with SUNI Volunteers will be involved in 36 camps and Missions over July and August. We want this summer to see lives transformed and relationships deepen as God’s Good News is told throughout Northern Ireland and beyond. Please join us with this and pray for the work over the summer. We have put together a prayer calendar that you can use to pray for each of the camps and missions. You can click here to download the calendar.
Many of you will have received our annual SUNI News over the last week. This is our chance to tell you some of the stories from the last twelve months. We began this year holding to the statement “We want to do all we can to help children and teenagers across Northern Ireland connect with God.” So that has been our intent, shaping both what we do and how we do it, not scared to ask, “is this working?” Equally we’re taking time to say “thank you” when it is – It’s been a good year!
SUNI News is made up of six ‘postcard’ stories telling from the night the E3 Schools’ Project took over Belfast City Hall to why supporting SUNI can turn into a lifelong commitment.
Did you also know there are six stories only available online? Click Here to visit SUNI News Extra – here you can find out more about our Interns, a recent staff trip to SU Germany and download our Camps & Missions Summer Prayer Calendar.
If you didn’t receive our SUNI News you can read it online here. Also over the next few weeks we will be highlighting stories from this summer’s issue.
