Scripture Union publishes a number of Bible Reading Notes to help you engage with God’s Word with a range of reflections and thoughts to inspire your daily reading.
Scripture Union also offers ‘Light‘ a quarterly material, designed for ministry with children, young people and all ages together. Light is ideal for use with children’s groups on Sundays, in midweek Christian groups, at youth clubs and with children’s prayer groups.
For those annual events like Christmas, Easter and Holiday Bible Clubs SU has published resources to help with them too.
The latest in the SU library of Holiday Bible Club guides is Polar Explorers. This is a five to seven-day children’s holiday club: an opening Sunday service, three to five (daily) club sessions and a closing Sunday service. With the help of Sir Random Finds and Bare Feet, the children are explorers who go on a mini-expedition each day and learn about a New Testament character. Through the lives of these people, they learn that no one is too anything to be part of God’s big expedition, that is, to be a friend of Jesus and go out and help other people be friends of Jesus too.
Published last year, Mega Makers! Children will enter the inventor’s workshop and make some mega discoveries about God, hear about how God’s love is far wider and longer and higher and deeper than we can ever imagine and find out what it means to be a follower of Jesus, based on Matthew’s Gospel.
