Joel first joined the SU team part-time, supporting Rachel in Ballymena. From September 2017 he is now the full-time E3 Antrim & Lisburn Schools' Worker. His love for the work of SU has grown over many years in various roles; as a SU committee member at school, as a Camps & Missions volunteer, and as a youth worker engaged in schools ministry. Joel is passionate about helping churches engage with their local schools and communities.

Before joining SU Rachel qualified as a Primary School teacher from Stranmillis University College. Rachel is passionate and enthusiastic about sharing the Good News of Jesus with children and young people of all ages within the school context,having experienced the impact of Christian teachers and friends being part of an SU group during her own time.

Before joining SU, Caroline completed a degree in Divinity at Queens University Belfast. After working as a Special Needs Classroom Assistant in East Belfast and then covering a maternity post with the Presbyterian Church, she is excited to be involved in schools ministry in the East Antrim Area. Caroline is passionate about opening the Bible with children and young people of all ages, and encouraging them to explore the amazing things that God has done and continues to do.
Rebekah is from Ballynure in County Antrim. After leaving school, Rebekah spent a year with Youth for Christ participating in different types of youth and schools’ ministry. That experience confirmed for Rebekah that she wanted to pursue Christian ministry so she moved on to Belfast Bible College, where she has just graduated from 3 years of studying. Rebekah says, “I’m very thankful to my home church, Glengormley Baptist, for all their support in recent years and for the experiences I have had there, serving in church and in the local community. As a resident of the East Antrim area, I am really excited to see what opportunities are available and how God is going to work right on my doorstep - I can’t wait to get started!”

Sarah first joined the SUNI team in 2018, covering a maternity schools worker post in East Antrim. Since September 2019 she has been the full-time E3 East Belfast Schools Worker. Sarah is passionate about communicating the truth and life of God’s Good News and walking with children and young people as they grow with God. Sarah loves the church and is excited about the fruit that comes when a local church engages and invests in their local school.

Alastair joins SUNI after nearly 20 years in the teaching profession. For many years he has been responsible for leading the youth work for teenagers in his church, whilst also being involved in summer mission amongst children and running his school’s P7 SU group. His desire is to see young lives transformed, discipled and mobilised with God’s Good News!

Before joining SU, Andrew studied Law and Politics at Queens, and graduated in 2009. After that he spent a year working with the CIYD “Jump” programme before being appointed as the Children’s worker in Glenavy Parish where he spent 8 years. He is passionate about sharing God’s Big Story and loves having the opportunity to do so. He is married to Claire and has two daughters, Emma and Pippa. He has lived in Coleraine since 2012. His hobbies include following football, playing golf and drinking as much coffee as he can.

Rachel is passionate about the Bible and passionate about young people meeting God and stepping into all that He has for them.
