Wilson’s Hospital School, Mullingar

Summer ’17 looked a little different for “Scottish” Junior Camp as we headed to Mullingar. After an amazing week in Mullingar, and the continued renovations at our Dunbar site, Scottish Camp is once again on tour this summer.

Wilson’s Hospital School, Mullingar, is a huge venue boasting full size football, hockey and rugby pitches, an outdoor swimming pool, a sports hall and lots of space inside – all perfect for your chosen activity. We have archery, crafts, pool inflatables, football, volleyball, hockey … the list goes on. Just minutes away, you can enjoy kayaking on the beautiful Lough Derravaragh with our qualified instructors.

We need sometime to relax too! Midweek we’ll take a trip to Dundrum Shopping Centre, where you’ll be spoilt for choice with three floors of shops.

This camp is full of great activities, but what we’re really all about is Christ. Through Bible studies, seminars, talks and praise, we learn what Christ has done for us and how we can live fully for Him every day.

All catering is provided by the fantastic school team. Travel is included. Family discount is available across Junior and Senior “Scottish” camps. Spaces fill up quickly…so get your form in asap! We’d love to see you this summer!

Are you keen to have a week of adventure this summer? Well.. MAC IS BACK! Join us for a jam-packed week of thrills and spills to remember! We have a wonderful new venue, which is still in the heart of Mourne country.  We can guarantee you will not be disappointed! Our mornings and afternoons will be activity based, providing the opportunity to have loads of fun and fellowship together. Do any of these sound good to you? Mountain biking, kayaking, GPS treasure hunts in the forest, archery, laser clay pigeon shooting, bushcraft survival, raft building, crazy competitions, off-the-wall team building activities and a few surprises thrown in? It is going to be awesome!

We, as a group of excited and enthusiastic leaders, believe the biggest and most amazing adventure we can take with you is into God’s Word, our light to live by, in this day and generation.  So we also have morning devos and evening worship together, dorm groups, studies and praise times together.  These, along with our 24/7 prayer room, are very much at the heart of MAC.

Book early so you aren’t disappointed! The time has come to join the great MAC adventure – the best camp of the summer!

Sorry is camp is now full

We’re delighted to be joining the Summer Madness Festival again this year, and hopefully making the festival available for young people who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend.

Summer Madness is Ireland’s Premier Christian Festival that brings together young people, from all backgrounds, across the island of Ireland to celebrate, connect and explore the significance of faith in today’s world.

Alongside all that the festival has to offer from Main Stage teaching and worship, to a wide-ranging seminar programme, sports and other activities on site, the camp will have all the hallmarks of other SU Camps:

– A great team of experienced and approved SUNI volunteers

– Small group discussions

– Engaging with the Bible beyond the Big Meetings

– The opportunity to meet new people and make lifelong friends

– Tonnes of laughter and a whole load of fun!

We will endeavour to meet together as a whole camp (leaders & campers) twice before the festival in the summer to enable us to get to know one another, which will help to make the festival even more enjoyable and significant. We will send the details of those meetings out in due course, but we would strongly encourage everyone to make every effort to attend those gatherings.

The cost for the camp includes:

– Your full Festival Ticket

– All food and accommodation costs for the festival

– Any costs for the pre-festival get-togethers

PLEASE NOTE: to register on SU@SM18 you DO NOT need to complete the registration form at the back of the brochure. Instead, please visit to register
