‘One more thing friends: Pray for us. Pray that the Master’s Word will simply take off and race through the country to a groundswell of response.’ (2 Thess 3:1 MSG)
I hope as you have read through this newsletter you have caught at least a glimpse of the exciting things that have been happening for SUNI this year. It has been a busy year. And as we have made plans, we have started to see some of them come to fruition while others are still tenderly growing. As good and important it is to make plans and look forward to the future we must also realize that none of our work would be possible without God’s provision; we are totally reliant on Him. As such all our work at SUNI needs to be steeped in prayer. We need to take time not only to talk to God but also to listen for His answers.
As we meet each Tuesday morning for Staff Prayers we are encouraged to learn from each other how God is moving among our children and young people throughout Northern Ireland. We are also all too aware of times of discouragement or struggle and as Staff we need to continually ask for wisdom, strength and safety.
As an organisation we are so conscious of the many people who pray for us. Thank you! Thank you for regularly bringing our needs to God in prayer. If you don’t already pray, would you consider joining us in this vital task? Will you stand beside us and pray regularly for the work of SUNI?
There are two ways in which you can do this. Like many others you can join our monthly Prayer Focus list, then each month you will receive our prayer newsletter giving an important story of the month as well as daily prayer points. Alternatively you can visit our website www.suni.co.uk to see our prayer point each day. Our work simply cannot be done without an army of prayer warriors supporting us on a daily basis.
