Opportunities for Churches

Supporting and working with churches is really important to us! As an interdenominational organisation, we are so thankful for the variety of churches across N. Ireland who engage with many aspects of Scripture Union’s ministry - prayerfully, practically & financially.

There are many opportunities for churches and Scripture Union ministries to work alongside and support one another, so do get in touch if you’d like to know more!

Schools

There are many great opportunities for church congregations to connect with schools and explore what it means to serve local school communities in spiritual, pastoral and practical ways. Get in touch with your local Schools’ Worker or Mark Moorhead (Schools Ministry Manager) if you’d like to chat more about what this could look like in your context.

Camps and Missions

Being part of a Camp or Mission is a significant event both for the children and young people who attend, as well as for the volunteer leader – the experience, training and development they gain on their team can contribute so much to how they serve in their home Church.  Contact our Camps and Missions staff to find out more about opportunities for your congregation to support those who attend SU summer teams and how you can effectively support local SU missions too.
